“Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.” John 6:27
“The church that doesn’t evangelize will fossilize,” someone once wrote. Jesus Christ commands His bride to teach all that He has commanded her, “and lo,” He added, “I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world” (Matt. 28:19-20). May God enable us, despite all our shortcomings as individuals and as a congregation, to remain faithful to that commission and to rest on that promise.
Denominational Ministries
Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary – Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary is distinctive because of its Reformed, experiential emphasis and its academy model of education. Ministry in the church of Jesus Christ—whether it be preaching, teaching, counseling, or administration—must be theologically informed. Therefore, our seminary strives to fully equip students for a variety of forms of gospel ministry, always remembering that the Holy Spirit’s unction and blessing is requisite to make men “able ministers of the New Testament”. Reformation Heritage Books -The goal of Reformation Heritage Books (RHB) is to provide sound, Reformed literature to people all around the world at the lowest possible price. We stock about 3,000 new titles and usually have on hand about 2,000-3,000 used books for sale, specializing in antiquarian Puritan literature. Most new books are sold by means of biannual mailing lists or walk-in customers; used books are sold largely by our website (www.heritagebooks.org). RHB publishes an average of six books a year, depending in part how many donations and gifts are received. As a non-profit ministry, RHB also sends free books to needy pastors and seminaries in third-world countries. RHB is run by a board of eight people, of whom seven are from our congregation.
